@@Nodnarb59 When it gets to that point with any boss in any combat-based game, take it as slow as possible. You want to practice by going solo and just getting a read for each move, don’t focus on getting attacks off until you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about every move. Once you get past that, incorporate your attacks and just see how long you can last solo. Abandon the quest when you get to your last cart so you can keep all the consumables you use and just keep trying until fighting solo doesn’t feel one-sided anymore and then you can try for an actual run with others or solo. I spent about two weeks doing maybe 5-10 tries per day on the first week and a little less the second week and I had gotten most of the moves down and my gs timing and positioning where it was decent enough to hold my own in the fight. Once it starts to click during a fight, it feels amazing and worth the extra effort put in to learn your opponent. Also Alatreon can be a pretty annoying gimmick boss bc you HAVE to focus elemental buildup and make sure you break the horns to keep them from switching to your weapons element. If you don’t get the two knockdowns before the first arena-covering attack, just abandon and try again. Also just check out videos of how others players with your weapon take them down for a visual example.
