I absolutely love these stripped back, clean versions of these songs. Even when QOTSA plays these acoustically, it's usually still quite rugged and messy, whereas the way you do it helps the beauty of the song punch through the grit. The verse riffs are so much clearer that you appreciate how much groove and funk they have in them, the choruses are so clear that you hear those marvelous chords and their progression ring. Love it, please keep going!!

They all got very busy separate schedules and Dave basically burned himself out for this project.

Damn I love this! The only complaint I have is that it would sound even better if you recorded the vocals on their own, it would have felt more intense if they would have been louder! Really nicely recorded and arranged tho, I'm a big fan

Hey Joello, I totally agree with you that vocals could have been louder! Man it's tough sometimes to find the perfect middle between good recording and good videography. I also want to keep doing mostly live covers because it's harder, and I guess I like making my life more difficult sometimes 😂😅
