1:56 to about 2:10... how does Alain play that solo whilst singing back vocals over the top of it. That's just insane. He's so under rated!
@williambradley80042 жыл бұрын
It's basically a loop of notes he's singing harmony over,like what singing Bass players do creating Melodic loop like lines to sing over.
@benediktd51122 жыл бұрын
It's impressive. But i think Josh's guitar rhythm part he's playing at that moment while singing is harder than that solo right there :D
@banananananananananananananas Жыл бұрын
Alain plays multiple different parts throughout the song while singing including the one Josh plays. That said neither of them have it easy and I love Josh and his ability to play complex parts and sing at the same time on many of his songs but on this one Alain is definitely working harder

I've never really heard anyone talk about John Paul Jones from Zeppelin. Spotlight was always on Plant and Page. No one really ever talks about the bass player. Who would have thought he'd be back 30 years later with one of the best fuckin' bands/albums I've ever heard in my life?

@Trowh Yeah - Definitely an improvement on the wet dross that Plant is trotting out these days with Diana Krall. JPJ Just looks in his element every time I see him on stage with TCV. He's funny - Like the polite English village vicar who happens to be one of the mightiest and influential musicians in history. The sounds coming out of his bass are almost at odds with the guy you see on stage. Love the guy.

It doesn't get much better than this! From Zeppelin to Nirvana with a mix of Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters! These guys rock like know one else! Josh is the most innovative rock guitarist we have seen in a while in my opinion and who better to play the drums (only the best drummer in the last 20 years). The people that don't like these guys probably just can't comprehend or understand the vibe.
