Gunnar thank you for sharing your experience with the Muskox. I have not yet seen muskox here in Canada but I have spent many hours with moose here taking photos and video. As you said, it is always a pleasure to spend time in nature.

Norway might be the most accessible place to actually see them in the world. They are far up north in America. Thank you for tuning in. I might have some winter adventure there soon :)

Merry Xmas Gunnar. It was so exciting watching the majestic animals called muskox. Myself, a hobby wildlife photographer struggling with gear (unfortunately my bodies Samsung NX series do not have native lenses over 200 mm), adapting vintage lenses and so on, never had the chance to shoot anything else but birds. Even though in the forests around my village, there are hares, deers, boars, jackals and others, i simply never seem to be ready when i see them. They quickly run away.

Hei Bozhidar and merry Christmas! I guess for the animals you’re talking about you have to be hidden a lot. With muskoxen it is a bit different, they do fend of predators, so they aren’t to afraid to run. Also running in their environment costs a lot of precious energy. Cheers
