Gunner, HEAT, PC! - The M2 "Bradley"

In my last video I got a request to visit more of GHPC's vehicles. That made me decide to make a series of videos about all vehicles in GHPC.
In this video, we visit the M2 "Bradley". An IFV which is in use by the US Army and has been since 1981.
I tried to keep the video as short and to the point as possible, as I want to keep it interesting. However, if you missed any details you wished to have seen, please let me know for future videos!

Just FYI, SPW-60 aka Schützenpanzerwagen 60 (armored personal carrier 60) is the East German designation for the BTR-60, so you´re right, this was indeed a BTR, its designation was just translated into german in the East German Army!

I choose you, to tell me how well this game develops. :P Subbed All I wanna know is how the AI develops. Too many "mil sims", even from industry veterans, have braindead AI, unless you make HEAVY use scripting in your missions, or use something like Arma's Zeus. Considering how difficult AI is to code, I doubt a young studio can make a change, but I wish to be proven wrong.

So the M792 APDS-T CAN penetrate a T-72 IRL if you hit the right spot and if they're not too far away. There are verified AAR's from Desert Storm of Brads penetrating the hull of T-72s. In some cases, they killed the crew, but the ammo carousel was almost empty, so there was no ammo to cook off. That is replicated in the game too. The t-55 is easy to kill if you hit the hull on the side in front of the turret where some ammo is stored. Then once Brads got the M919 APFSDS-T depleted uranium rounds, T-72s didn't stand a chance.

also can also kill the t55A with a 50 cal in ghpc all you have to do is shoot where the gunners sight is and the round will go though into the fighting compartment and the ammo

Pretty sure the BMP has frontal protection rated for 12.7 mm machine guns, side protection from 7.62 mm guns. 25 mm AP will make swiss cheese out of it. Also, can the Bradely not restock it's ammo belts?

I think you can restock it, but only when it's empty.

great work :) two things 1. fun fact : for some reason the Bradley up intel desert storm never got a laser rangefinder 2. could you do some t72 gameplay as well ? while not as easy as the m1 both the t72m and m1 are not super hard to use you just have to do are two things 1. put the red dot on you're target and lase 2. then put the chevron you see in the middle of you're gun sight and fire

Also, it does seem to have some sort of automatic range system, since in GHPC the Bradley definitely seems to automatically zero at whatever you point the cannon. And like you said, the original M2 didn't have a laser viewfinder, so any idea what kind of system it's using for this and if it's accurate?

@@akkapamagaming that being side the m2 FSC in-game is more or less accurate wearing from other people

@@akkapamagaming The basic M2 Bradley doesn't automatically range, but it does zero for whatever number is displayed below the gunsight. You can adjust it manually with the standard controls in GHPC, which default to LCtrl + mousewheel or alternatively PgUp/PgDown. (That's also how you range in the T-55A or manually adjust range in all the other vehicles that support it, such as the M60A1 with its optical coincidence rangefinder.) Bradley had no rangefinder aside from the stadia reticle in the gunsight until the M2A2 ODS many years later.

@@ActionScripter Yeah I know, that's what I thought too. But in GHPC it definitely auto zeros. Not sure why but if you elevate the cannon and start shooting quickly, you can see it starts walking the rounds in by itself.

A WW2 version of the game? Im more interested in a modern day version of the game with KF51 Panther, Leopard 2A8, M1A2 Sepv4 Abrams, ZTZ99A-2, T-90M for main battle tanks. Also some modern IFVs and other vehicles like M2A3 Bradley, Puma, ZBD, ZBL, ZTD05, BMP-3 and AMX-10 RC Modern shit with cool technology.
