This is undoubtedly the best speedrun I saw in my entire. The amount, the level of technical details allied with precision and dexterity, that is, for me, the very essence and soul of speedrunning a game. It's my humble opinion, but I'm kinda tired of zips, glitches and out of bound stuff. For me, speedrunning it's all about pristine execution and technical details. And I'm frankly surprised to find this in a Pokemon game, of all RPGs, shooters, beat’em up, and so on, type of games out there. Congratulations, GunnerManiac.

41:55 scary foreshadowing on that Meditite fight: Getting confused from Confusion first try (1/10 chance), then Meditite using 4 Confusions back to back (1/256), on top of 2 consecutive self hits from being confused (1/4) for a grand total of 1/10240 probability; or approximately a 0.01% chance. You basically just watched the physical manifestation of the 0.01% of germs. Edit: On top of that, due to Meditite using Bind his Wingull didn't get killed when he swapped it in, so he had to split exp with it. So it was even worse luck than that.

Genuinely love the display of human spirit here, it’s heartening to hear a crowd of people cheering in support against illness, and to me, suffering.

Thank you for doing what AGDQ's YT would never do: starting your video at the start of the run

That narrator’s pronunciation of Kyogre is the exact same as Weedletwinneedles’ joke pronunciation of it. I wonder if she’s trolling.

I love watching speed run that have so many short cuts found and stated, I'll see something and be like "how the actual fuck did someone figure that out"
@turdle694205 жыл бұрын
They didn't. Algorithms and examining source code do it. People don't just stumble upon this shit.

I went back to see the progression of Sweaty Pits Guy throughout the run. I have never seen anything like that, poor guy.

Shen sounds like he had a bad cold O: I didn't even realize it was him when I watched live. It was an awesome watch tho, outstanding commentary as always!

be honest, the only thing we ever speedran in this game was the intro with the professor

I have a fever, and I should've gone to bed 10-12 hours ago... so perfect time to watch a 2 hour long speedrun.
