Same - It's not always about more detail, it's about tasteful detail and between his last three works, the Victory Gundam, Kshatriya, and Hi-Nu he's really putting that on display. Learning even a little bit on the insight behind that would help so much for those of us not nearly as good at this as Ravi is.

It’s call a scriber, used for making panel lines and such. Just search for gunpla panel line scriber.

Interesting. In past I tried to use masking tape to draw out the shape and transfer it to plaplate like this but it woul always turn out to small or to big, or even miss shaped. But then again practice makes perfect. I should have kept trying....

Your videos are so zen to me! What is the material you use to add plating onto your models? The yellow and white sheets you cut and glue on I mean. I'm so inspired to begin improving my models and adding finer details.

It’s called plastic plate or plaplate. The difference in colors is based on the company.

RG 하이뉴가 구판 HG 하이뉴 사출색에 비슷하게 나왔다고 생각하고 있었는데, 컨셉트 아트/버카 버전에 가깝게 바꾸셨군요. 거기다가 보라색에 투톤 처리까지 해주시고... 그냥 넙죽 절만 하게 됩니다 ㅠㅠ

그어줄 때 손가락 약지를 파츠에 대고 그어주면 안정적으로 그어집니다. 처음에는 길을 낸다는 생각으로 힘을 살짝 빼고 그어주신 후 어느 정도 길이 나면 그때 힘을 더 주고 그어줍니다.

무수지... 따로 흘려넣는 법같은게 있나요? 요즘 접합선 연습하는 중인데... 이게 들어간건지 안들어간건지 알수가 없는지라... 자꾸 실패하더라구요,

접합선 수정의 경우 한 번에 완벽하게 없애기는 쉽지 않습니다. 저 같은 경우는 1차로 무수지를 흘려서 부착하고 2차로 순접으로 구멍이나 빈틈을 메우는 작업을 합니다.
