It looks great, but I keep thinking this is armor plating over the frame. From a practical stand point it seems there are waaay too many pieces and joints to satisfy some sort of protection requirement. Think tank. Hinged or removable panels for access to hydros or verniers, fine. I almost want to set tiny lifting hooks all over mine just to see what it would look like. Just my 2c

I watched this 2 years ago and was amazed. Now that I’ve been building for a couple years, I’m even more amazed. I just broke out my Kshatriya and I’m glad I remembered this video series!

Okay so where did you get that thin little metal mesh? And did You just airbrushed your panel liner for big deep areas?! Woah. Okay. Cool.

4 years late to this video. I just finished building the RG verison of the Sazabi, absotutely love this model. One day soon I'll build this bad boy, however, I'm not daring or talented enough to take it this kind of level. Though I do have to admit, your technique of masking tape and pressing it down with a cue tip for accuracy I will be taking for my own models.
I hoe you are well. Will there be upload for the subsequent parts?

Absolutely love these tutorials, especially stuff like adding/moving separation lines to spots where they make sense in-universe.

I like everything about this. The only feedback I have is for the part you molded inside the shoulder. I would've added some sort of propulsion or gas vent there, which is a normal thing to see on gunpla in that position. Having just panels doesn't make mechanical sense to the gunpla function. Great work though, I will experiment with the molding material.
