My first kit was the HG Sinanju, which was much more complex than I expected given where I'm at now, my second was the RG Strike Freedom because it was priced at a HG's and since I love Gundam Seed I had too, The difference between a HG and RG was immense for me and the Strike Freedom remains my only RG kit to date. One day I'd like to get another RG kit but I want more precise cutters before I take that dip. My favorite kit that I put together was Shia Kajima's G-Portent from Build Fighters Try, I love everything about the design and how the Gundam itself works in the show it's really great and I had a super fun time putting it together.

The Gundam Thunderbolt MG. I will make sure I never buy that one! If it's no fun to put together and a pain in the butt. It takes all the fun out of it for me. I like a challenge, I love Gumpla's, Lego's, and car and plane models. I just love putting model kits together. I've always found them extremely fun! Especially Gumpla's and Lego's. my first Gundam kit is terrifying, an old 1980's 1/144 Guntank that I unknowingly bought in the early 2000's because it was cheap that requires cement to put together and no color separation and I was 12 at that time so I used super glue and painted the poor thing using acrylic paints, also congrats to all the winners.

For beginner kits, the new entry grade is fantastic. My friends 7 year old daughter just got into it and she built a entry grade in under a hour by herself. For what it is and how much it is its a perfect first kit. Did see my HG 78(kept the origins and beyond global away from it to be fair) was better, but not by much thats a solid kit. I also like the old school minty green GM for a starter kit. Easy to build and has a cool look to him

The only Gundam I have completed is a 1/144 Deathscythe. I did that around the year 2005. It's got a perfect paint job and no stickers or decals were needed. I've finished other things. The clutter gets to be too much. I am finally purging the past 15 to 25 years of junk by way of Ebay listings. I might keep my one and only tiny Gundam.

That’s so awesome for you that you live in Florida! You get to be close to all the major gunpla shops, except for newtype! I’m in Tennessee, and there’s absolutely no good stores here. Just Barnes and nobles and a few small hobby shops with a few kits!

Ever thought about hydro dipping the 1/12 scale kit ? Or like electro plating ? Those methods work well with big surfaces and would cost less than using spray paints

hi Meli, i just put together my first MG Gundam, he's my 3rd gundam, it's Barbatos from IBO. I love it. hes awesome, but i broke his foot hinge because i had it on backwards... so now i guess i need c1 c2 parts from that kit. any ideas where i can get a replacement part fast and cheap? thx.

All of them duh, nah but I love barbatos lupus rex and would buy the perfect grade of it if it ever came out because they can't ever do the poor kit justice and pg kits never let us down

@@zacharytribou2728 I bought the no grade 1/100 of lupus and lupus rex just so I can put lupus's red shoulders on lupus rex. The shoulders on lupus rex just doesn't make barbatos look as good as lupus's red shoulders do.
