The familiar smell is probably the vinyl most of those figures and the DBZ ones were made of. Also, the Amuro pose is the scene when Char almost runs him over with his little car. I think it's the first time they come across each other. Char was driving this buggy, which of course was red and Amuro was absorbed in manual reading, his favorite passtime.

the Amuro one is him reading the manual on how to operate the Gundam next to his parked car and the Ramba Ral one is when the Gundam slashed the Gouf's cockpit hatch with its beam saber during a battle.

Huge Gundam fan here saying hi from the awesome state of Ohio. I’ve been a Gundam fan from the early 2000’s when it first aired on Cartoon Network. The figure of Amuro Ray looks like it’s from the first episode when the Zaku’s are attacking and a stray round hit near him killing the Fed officers and blown the V Project book over to him where Amuro first learns about the Gundam

i was in a couple mandarake stores in Osaka in 2019, they are EVIL....in a good way! Its basically a library of retro toys in book shelves after more book shelves and then glass shelves. And the fact that you can actually ask the staff to show you the conditions of the products you are interested to get is awesome.

If you love Japan, you must try mountain hiking, I recommend Mt. Tengu dake But if you haven't tried mountain hiking I recommend Mt. Kumotori for medium difficulty
