I loved the Love Theme from "Once Upon a Time in the West." I first heard it on a Budapest dinner cruise on the Danube! As soon as I returned home, I bought the soundtrack and movie. I've loved Poledouris ever since he composed the music from "The Blue Lagoon." It's one of my favorites! I also loved his suite from "For Love of the Game." Too bad that he's now gone.

Hi Brain, Another newbe for me. I enjoyed it alot. It sounded more like Ennio as it got going. Do you know the name of the woman who sings these great melodies in Morricone's films? (Not sure if you call it actual singing.) She is just terrific and adds so much to the mood of the music. Did you know that Anthony Quinn was heavily considered in the role of Chris in The Magnificent Seven? As always, I enjoy your suites. Thanks also for the great video work you do. Aspira a que su grupo se mantenga en primera línea. 11 de octubre de 1956 el “Ratón Macías” peleara (de mentiritas), el lunes entrada gratis en la “Arena México” y además muchas peleas de pilón. De lunes a miércoles se rodarán las escenas de boxeo de la película “El Ratón”, siendo el escenario la Arena México. Inhumaron al Cine técnico Juan Puga Sánchez, el asistente de cámara falleció en días pasados cuando trabajaba en un film en Durango. Ayer fueron inhumados en esta capital los restos del asistente de cámara Juan Puga Sánchez, quien hace dos días falleció en Durango donde participaba en el rodaje de “Un Muro de San Sebastián”. El cine técnico ingreso desde 1938 a la rama de construcción y por méritos propios fue ascendiendo en el escalafón sindical hasta llegar a asistente de cámara, puesto en el que había empezado a destacar al grado de ser solicitado exprofeso por los productores estadounidenses. Su muerte de debió a una afección hepática, contaba con 51 años de edad y deja a su viuda Lucia Castañeda Rojas y a sus cinco hijos, Rosa María, Esther, Consuelo, Juan y Armando Puga Castañeda. El comité ejecutivo que presida Jorge Duran Chávez hizo acto de presencia en la agencia Gayosso de la calle Félix Cuevas y se enviaron coronas y adornos florales incluyendo una ordenada desde Durango por Anthony Quinn quien lleva el estelar en la cinta en cuyo rodaje estuvo rando Puga Sánchez.
