SABEMOS QUE QUE NO ES LA MISMA BANDA.. .

I didn't like DJ Ashba at first, but I've come to really respect his role in this latest incarnation. I saw the band in Phoenix AZ in December 2011, and Ashba did a hell of a job. I think he's cool as hell.
@AstralElephantFuzz12 жыл бұрын
There are three Guns N' Roses. The Original; Axl, Izzy, Tracii, Ole and Rob The Classic; Axl, Izzy, Slash, Duff and Steven The Current: Axl, Dizzy, Chris, Frank, Ashba, Richard, Bumblefoot and Tommy. Don't come crying to me about ''What is Guns N' Roses''. Period.
@Maliboo198012 жыл бұрын
I agree. Seen the last year (I think) and it was a great show. To many people see videos on youtube taken on a crappy camera and think that's how it is.

Why are people commenting on Axls vocals? Jesus hes 23 yrs older. You think James Hetfield sounds the same now as he did on the Black Album? Hell no. Id like to see if your voice sounds the same at 50 as it does at 25
@saulhudsonbelg10 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more :)
@PatrickDAllen19 жыл бұрын
There's some truth to this. Hetfield certainly doesn't sound like he did in his prime. But... I think most of us can still agree that he's "aged" a thousand times better than Axl.
@PatrickDAllen19 жыл бұрын
I never said he sounds bad. Just... If you listen to him now vs. the many older videos of Guns in their prime, you know this is not the same sound. I totally respect Axl for keeping the show going, even if it's not the same as it was. He's a real showman from that perspective. It's ok to say he doesn't sound the same as he used to though. He doesn't, and I think even he is aware of this. "Bad" isn't what I was going for so much as "distinctly different" was. If you want the old Gunner sound, it's never coming back even WITH a reunion (if that could ever even happen). That said, I still appreciate Axl not letting his aging vocals keep him from the fans. =]

While people talk shit about Axl and the band, those guys still kick ass on stage and put on one hell of a show. Saw them in Italy in 2010 and it was fucking amazing. Call 'em GN'R, Axl & Friends or Whateverthefuckyouwant Band, they're still great.
@cassiejones392111 жыл бұрын
i know hes 50, but these guys hold him back, if you have ever studied these live videos u will see, where he goes to star bouncing around and acting the clown like the old days, and he looks at the guys and just stops. it depresses me i fell in love with him 28yrs ago in a bootlegged video my brother got hold of, of hollywood rose, and this is his saddest line up im afraid, when i get to see a concert it will be for him alone not the whole band like 20yrs ago

Matt Sorum was on the best 2 albums though. He was on this song on the album and that tour in the 90's was far more classic than their 80's tour. not bothered about the 80s stuff in all fairness, i like the albums from 1991 and 2008 and the tours that co-incided tis all :D

Es un excelente tema. Despegar de lo viejo de GNR debe ser dificil, además el público sigue pidiendo escuchar viejas canciones. Sin embargo y a pesar de todo hay ciertos artistas que tienen magia, como es el caso de Axl...

I think that the current band is still awesome. At least Axl can still sometimes sing, and gets his voice back, when (for example) James Hetfield has lost his voice for good. But still goes on touring. The current band is different, but still good and they have no reason to retire. See this video? Still kicking ass.

@saados21 Slash was not "behind" Sweet Child,he wrote the music and Axl wrote the lyrics,a joint effort.Izzy is a great arranger and writer,sure.Axl did alot after the others left,hiring new guys,writing and recording 3 to 4 albums of material,handling lawsuits,touring,etc. But the bottom line:GnR is not your band,nor is it mine.It is Axl Rose's band.And these individual members that presently constitute the larger whole of GnR...ARE GnR.It is a fact whether you like it or not.
