lots of comments about Scott singing better. I like to think that Myles is doing his own thing to honour Scott, not upstage him in his absence. I for one think this is a great version and a great homage to the original

How do you replace a dead guy with a unique style and explosive vocal range? You don't. Myles has his own identity, his own band, and a different 4-Octave vocal range. For him, it's a matter of simply doing a good cover of the original, not making an attempt to replace the original voice. BTW - Slash's ultra light strings make the extreme bends possible on an acoustic, but sound "thin".
@jasonmcdowell32194 жыл бұрын
This needs to be preached in the comments section of every single cover everywhere. One being great or revered doesn’t discredit or discount the other, ever. Both can be great AND completely different. Wish more people would get that instead of feeling the need to defend the memory of their favorites. I’d lay money if he had the chance to hear it, Scott would love Myle’s performances too.

That’s incredible how it seems easy for Myles to sing this song... I love this version, great hommage to Scott, none of the two is better than the other imo, they were really different singers and I love both, no need to argue on the singing
