Other than Richard Fortus is a great guitarist, his experience with "those" gnr member and yeah, honor to be with them is so amazing... 15 years with the band.. from robin finck, buckethead, Ron Bumblefoot Thal, DJ Ashba.. and finally, richard be with the original line up... Slash. You r amazing fortus!

Saw him in Melbourne, he was very good - hard to compete with the mighty Slash but held his own

Love seeing hollow bodies in rock, they’re so much more versatile than people including myself realize. I picked up an Ibanez art core and it’s cleans and gain tones are like none of my other guitars.

Fortus is a great conversationalist... Always seems interested and attached to what’s he’s doing and talking about. And the guy is a frigging stud guitar player...

what a career to this point for fortus...versatile, all the way from playing with inglesias to gnr, he sure has an open play book but you can hear a tone unto himself no matter what guitar or amp he's on..he's deceptively good, and that tonality makes you want a gretsch today.

First interview / demo I've watched with Richard (having seen him play live with GnR this summer). Was very impressed with his playing on stage, glad he's also a nice guy in person. Great addition to the band, sorry Izz.

You have to hear the stuff he did with the Dead Daisies, especially the "Revolucion" record. After that he left the Daisies, 'cause G'n'R went on world tour again and was replaced by his mate Doug Aldrich.

I was always more of a Fender/ Zemaitis/ Gibson guy. I recently got a G5120 and it changed my mind completely! I was so impressed added a Jet to the collection. They are great guitars. They are versatile enough to go from easy jazz to heavy rock. He's right about the extra definition. I prefer the Filtertrons over humbuckers any day.

Play a Gretsch. Because it's really cool to be an individual. Play something else,....and you can be just one of everyone else. Gretsch rocks!....Malcolm told me so.

KjellGibson what's he trying to sell? That white falcon would have the pick up selector in the same spot his 66 would have. He moved it himself
@citybabyrats7 жыл бұрын
KjellGibson I agree with that 100% I've barley even seen him play gretches. I just didn't think the thumb story had anything to do with it. In fact I'm surprised gretsch left that in there. It makes their design look bad.
