"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" is a song written and performed by Bob Dylan. I'm using a GNR version to cover. Very tricky song to arrange, at least for me. I'll continue thinking about/developing left hand and chords for a while. My neck was kinda fucked up for the entire weekend and still hurts a bit, so I didn't do much for a few days. Hopefully, back to work. The teddy bear does have the same tattoo as I do. I received him as a present today, very sweet. It amazes me how she literally covers everything, even Duff's bass parts... I keep thinking I'm hearing duff playing his parts but it's her magical fingers on those keys... absolutely fantastic. She makes one instrument into MULTIPLE.

That's exactly what makes it so damn impressive. She has to play bassline, vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, etc. all at once in two hands -- I forget the term for it. Polyrhythmic maybe?

Have you tried Warren Zevon's cover? It's so powerful and emotional. He also sang it when he had third stage terminal cancer. For me that's the best cover of the Dylan song.

I would watch other people play..but the emotion you put into your compositions is amazing.
