Steve Jones is completely underrated as an album producer. He's one of my top pics to oversee the next GN'R album!

Gotta admit, I dig the idea. Major punk fan here.

Beautiful Devils having fun and playing n by playing making fantastic, magical music! Neurotic Outsiders was the bastard child nobody wanted to claim, running back to their first families, but what a beautiful bastard.

Bought the album because I was a fan of GNR, quickly became my most played record at the time, and still love it to this day.

I seen these guys live in '96, with a good Brit girl punk band called Fluffy opening. I remember they covered the Clash and the Damned live.

I actually saw them in January of 1996 in Santa Cruz Ca. Lightly attended show. I didn't even recognized Duff at first. Completely shocked since the last time I saw him was in the "Since I don't have you" video 2 years earlier. It was a near empty show with most the people being 20 something girls in prom dresses getting as close to John Taylor as possible. The band HOG opened which had a song in the movie Black Sheep starring Chris Farley.

_I left this comment/suggestion on your other channel _*_Rock n' Roll True Stories_*_ but, just in case, I thought about writing in here as well_ Suggestion for a video: Most of the time, when I read the title of your videos (about Guns n' Roses), I have a pretty good idea what it will be about and usually, I end up not learning anything new because I already know everything (or almost) said in the video. I guess that's the case of all of us, true Gn'R fans! There's one name, one person, though, who I know almost nothing about: *Mike Clink* . I remember, when I got the _Illusion_ albums, while I was listening to the songs, at the same time, I was reading the lyrics and then, I read everything printed on the CD booklet. Every single word! I remember seeing "Production: Mike Clink" but I had no idea what a producer does. Now I do know what a producer does and how important his role is! I know that if a band works with the wrong producer, if they listen to a producer who has no idea what he's doing or a producer whose vision is completely different from the band's vision, even if the band has the best songs in the World, the producer might lead them in the wrong direction and ruin the songs. I think that we all know how hard it was to find the right person to produce _Appetite_ and how the band was getting frustrated because the label had told them to stop playing gigs until their album would come out but it took forever to even start making the album because they couldn't find the right producer... Like I said, I know a lot about Gn'R but Mike Clink, besides the fact that he produced Gn'R albums (among other bands), I know nothing about him. How did they find him? Why him and not somebody else? What was special about him? I read somewhere that he was able to capture the sound of the band like they sounded live and that this was the main reason why they chose him but...what does that even mean? So yeah, if you could make a video about Mike Clink, that would be awesome!

I had seen them in Tucson, AZ at The Rock. At the time my wife and I lived 4 blocks from the venue. It was just nice to walk to a show. But was pressed up against the stage and met everyone after the show and their photographer at that time crashed on our couch for the night. It was an amazing night.

Hi Syd I had followed GN'R Central since 2014 plus rock n roll true stories. Always interesting. Did you know GN'R were coming down to Aus & NZ in Nov 2021 .. Before today' announcement.. Where did that come from? Esp in the current covid times??? Can you do a episode on this? Seen them a few times first show in 88. Pity there isn't a new album to tour with. Cheers & continue the fine work. Kelvin
