I still will throw this album on from time to time and listen to the whole thing from start to finish. This album is one of those hidden gems from the 90's that should be in every rocker's music collection!!! 🤘💀😜

Totally agree with you.That whole album was great. Start to finsih, and you're right about it being a hidden gem of the 90's. They went almost unnoticed.

Steve Jones is a legend. He is brilliant.! I love his work with the Neurotic Outsiders, it’s definitely a favorite. I never justify my taste in music. I like what I like and I make no explanations for it. I listen to everything from Sinatra to Slayer. NO should reunite!

Why can't they reissue & get behind that album for it's 25th anniversary. It is so so SO good & still sounds fresh now. Duran Duran The Sex Pistols & GnR were my fave bands at various stages growing up. When I heard they were hooking up. I thought I had died & gone to heaven. Please do more!

Probably for the same reasons they didn't stay together. Duff is in the GNR reunion deal , of which sadly Matt was not invited to participate in. John Taylor is touring with Duran Duran. Steve is in the middle of a law suit with the other members of the Sex Pistols against Johnny Lydon over a documentary film about the Pistols that Johnny didn't want anything to do with. Maybe one day the stars will realign and fans can get their wish but i wouldn't hold my breath waiting. Your idea was great however.

The Neurotic Outsiders records is still one of my all time favourite albums. I still regularly listen to it 23 years on, I still have the CD I bought. Amazing songs and really fun to play.

Been outta print for 23 years.....got the record at five years old. I remember Good News and Angelina like it was yesterday. 1999 was a phenomenal year for me. Stones, Clash, Cream, Zep, Neurotic Outsiders, Duran Duran, Motorhead. WWF. Mtv2 just being introduced. I miss being a kid. I miss the year 2000. I miss life before 9/11. I think shit was much more simpler. I was seven during 9/11. I was born and raised in DC.

See, this is a real legend. Look at how many good things he has to say about other musicians, regardless of genre. You'd think a "punk legend" wouldn't admit to loving "Don't stop believing" and Boston, but he's real enough to admit how great that music is. Punk was just Rock N' Roll without all the stupid theatrics... not much difference in terms of skill and roots. This guy is a treasure!
@anaccount8474

The Pistols didn't set out to be a punk band. Steve Jones just wanted to play in a rock band. He never really looked like a classic punk, I always thought he just looked very rock n roll.

Feelings are good... Very kind words from Steve about John Taylor as a musician. Taylor might have been seen as a pretty boy but his idols were people like legendary musicians like Bernard Edwards, and as such he sure could show how to "play that f-ing bass".

Saw them @ RPM in Toronto & Neurotic Outsiders were absolutely fantastic - I remember thinking that this is the best Punk Rock n Roll Band that I'd ever seen bar none !! They sounded , looked , played as good as it gets , seriously . With the Sex Pistols reunion , saw that show as well , that was the time they should've truly united & recorded a new album ... a second Neurotic Outsiders album would've been magic as well . Some things , times and opportunities missed are just horrible shames and that era for them was one of them , hugely . An awful shame

I'm a big GNR fan!!! I bought the Neurotic Outsiders album in 1996. I brought it back to my dorm and a few of the guys heard me playing it. They all said who's that, it sounds great. There ended up being a few Neurotic Outsiders fans, sitting around the dorm listening to that record.

Steve Jones is a legend , don’t know exactly what constitutes it as he says lol but he’s one for sure . Not just for the music either he has really evolved as a person , he’s been there done that and came out the other end . His autobiography is really honest and candid . Those in the know already been playing neurotic outsiders for decades I bought this album when it was out like all you others here Also went to the Finsbury Park pistols gig Good times !

I remember seeing the Neurotic Boy Outsiders (remember the 'Boy' bit?!) at the tiny LA2 (London Astoria 2) back in 1997... Simon Le Bon came onstage for the encore, which was a Stooges song... I think it was I Wanna Be Your Dog, possibly... I also remember getting off with a German woman who was the wife of the singer from Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, I was 18, I'm guessing she was late 30s early 40s! Oh yeah, I was the first person to buy a ticket for that gig too, I got tickets 0001 and 0002. =oD AMAZING NIGHT!
