Sad to hear all the negative nellies. The band were fantastic. Yes Axl's voice isn't what it was 30 years ago, not many would be. I love that they're touring and entertaining us. I respect that he's lost weight and has rest days for his voice. He looked really happy up there and doesn't seem to be carrying anger anymore. A well adjusted, relaxed 60 year old. Would see them again in an instant.

It takes a lot of energy to sing this type of song and this song in itself is a masterpiece,. So not everyone can assume the amount of energy it takes. I appreciate that Axl is singing this iconic song at this age, but his voice was iconic in his prime.

It’s pretty crazy that the majority of the 80s hair band lead singers like Axl Rose, James Hetfield, Vince Neil, Steven Tyler, Dave Mustaine, Bon Jovi, and David Lee Roth are still alive and the grunge era lead singers of the 90s with the exception of Eddie Vedder are not.

The artists from the 90s were more genuine and music from mentally unstable people was hugely popular even if the artists were actually miserable. Still love both decades though.

Like GNR , and maybe they sorta paved the way , but early 90’s music was a move back to real rock n roll….think early 70’s metal and hard rock . Guitar rock got fat bloated and cheesy in the eighties (with a few exceptions). I think of GNR as sort of a bridge between 80’s glam rock and the sweaty mosh pits of the nineties.

Omfg. 25 days until i finally see them live in Glasgow. Been a fan since i was 17. Back then i had no idea most of the band would get back together and tour again. I spend most my teens and early 20's watching their concerts on KZbin religiously. This doesnt feel real.
