Guns of Brixton - The Clash - Guitar Cover

On old Clash classic off the London Calling album. I had the T'Shirt on this morning so decided it was about time I learnt a couple more Clash tunes, so I dug the album out and played along to a few. This one seemed a bit easier than the rest, however you can see and hear me accidentally knock the pickup selector switch near the end as I reach for the whammy bar... Doh!! I almost had it... ah well near enough is good enough in my book. On to the next one.

I think with that one I was still using a Digitech RP500 to dial in the tone. I use a Headrush these days.

It’s an Ibanez Silver Series from around 1976. It is their strat copy made in Japan. I have had it for over 40 years.

Not sure mate I can’t remember it was a while ago that I recorded that one. I used a Digitech RP500 to dial in a tone. Sounds like some reverb and small delay on there.
