Agreed. I wouldn't say hugely skilled as a guitarist but his way of playing and the groove he's got is what makes him stand out. Even he said himself he wasn't a crazy talented guitarist but he just loved music and to jam.

@@kowbowski954 This is what we call 'skill'. It's not about playing thousand notes a minute, playing super sophisticated stuff that will melt your brain. Overly complicated music is tiresome for like 90% of people. The composing skills, the mood you are able put into the song is that what makes you great guitarist. Jimi Hendrix was so good because of his songwriting, his fresh approach to music and utilising latest guitar tech to shoot you into freaking outer space with his sound.

It's in Amplitube... split through 2 Vox amps with some overdrive and reverb. Nothing else!
