At least this one was already on my TBR for a change, LOL! Allen had me hooked into wanting to read this one too, so I'm glad to finally see a review that didn't have me adding more. Glad you liked it - I never realized how much fun flintlock fantasy was until Powder Mage, so it's definitely a niche I'm going to read more of.

I’m still to read one of his books, even though I’ve bought a few of them. I was looking through his works and was shocked at how many books the guy has written. I think he will be definitely on my 2022 reading list.

This one reads very easily! Has an amazing protagonist and is just a lot of fun. It does pack an emotional punch but I think you will like it.

It is much more Austenesque than Downton Abbey in my opinion. Very Pride and Prejudice. More like Lizzie Bennett goes to war and Northway more like Darcy.
