Trilussa I just thought people should not give such strong opinions on the art of music. It is as you said subjective to the listener l. However to just say “she was average”. I thought I’d tell him my opinion based on my musical knowledge as a part time vocal coach. I’m sorry if I’ve caused any problems. I just don’t like how some people just post unnecessary comments. I’m not sure why you are saying I am wrong about a sense of melody. This is my opinion as you said music is about opinions not facts. That was my opinion based on my expertise. What I meant when I said I knew more (or seemed to) I meant musical knowledge and being a vocal coach means I do know more musical knowledge than most people. This doesn’t mean people can’t have an opinion. However I am sorry if I have caused any problems.
