My set of dreads is straight hair semi freeform dreadlocks. I towel rubbed to start them and crotche hooked them about 8 months in to make the ends look neater but now I just let them do their own thing with separation when needed.

3:43 that's NOT buildup! It's just the hairs reflecting light en masse! So many times I thought I've had build up and look closely and there's nothing... It looks gray because whit light + black locs = gray reflection

I love the hair tubes and scarves. I do brush my front back and side, and periodically use Royal Crown hair dressing, but very little. Do not wash your harir so much, and just use any liquid shampoo, and I have used Dawn. I wash my hair about 4 times a year., or every 3 months. It is so long and thick, bun is my favorite.

Free form all the way, and i wear it in a bun, and I am Muslim, so outside my hair is my business. lol Wear a hair tube and scarf to keep people putting their nasty hands on your hair. I do not like hair on my face and neck, but it is heavy on my neck, unless i use a scarf to pull the bun up. I do not mind the thick bun. I love your intelligent videos. Stay safe and blessed always.
