I am going back to the late 50s and early 60,s to make extra money DENNIS WEAVER AMANDA BLAKE MILBURN STONE and later on KEN CURTIS would appear at state fairs which they were paid, When the agent for the cast wanted them to appear in NASHVILLE TN they were denied by the police morals squad because of the decency and the lifestyle that Hollywood and that THE LONG BRANCH was a brothel and MISS KITTY was a MADAM which she admitted to on the old MIKE DOUGLAS TALK SHOW, The Beverly hillbillies green acres petticoat juction were welcome with open arms by NASHVILLE ,JAMES ARNESS thought it was funny and laughed but the cast wasnt because they split 10,000 and sometimes 20,000 fees and NASHVILLE was a bust for them, It ws a different time back then in the bibel belt and as today police controled everything in TENNESSEE.
