Remade for the TV series with Chloris Leachman in the role of the "difficult woman." The radio version implies that the woman had been sexually assaulted by the outlaw, a detail which is left out from the TV remake.

I didn't get that from the radio episode. Hmm..

@@JB--- It's subtle enough to be overlooked when it isn't being looked for. The TV version, though even more subtle, is harrowing enough but told in such a way as to be "less traumatic" to any viewers under 12, which was the way TV used to be, especially during "prime time / family hour." But the radio version does come a bit closer to "PG-14" than its TV counterpart.
