I am not a parent, and yet that story of when you were a kid sounds horrifying!? I would though out a real apology for that to all the moms out there, mental traumas are not light and that kind of experience would have left some kind of mental trauma. Thank you for the awesome uploads these days.

The mod author needs to add Auto-Collect blocks alongside the Auto-Repair blocks. Those Auto-Collects would basically collect loot bags throughout the night so you get all the loot, risk free. The alternative is to add a mod that increases the time before loot bags despawn.

From my experience last time i played, the best place to look for seeds were those small, roadside wooden stalls/booths supposedly selling fresh agricultural products. Each of them had several "produce baskets" and whenever i wanted seeds, i just did a round around my town checking all of those, and usually ended up with at least 1 of every single plant seed in the game.

We raised steers when I was a kid. My brother told me the electric fence was off, and I was to unhook it from the post so we could go fill the grain up. Yeah.... it wasn't turned off. The grip of the wire was small, and the tension was great enough, that I had to use both hands to unhook the wire, which meant I was touching the wire..... and I got shocked by the fence. I was basically stun-locked for about 20 seconds until my brother knocked me off the fence 😅😂 he then joked that it looked like I was dancing 😂

Don't see how you were stun locked. Farm electric fences are designed to send timed surges through the system to prevent that. . .

@@nonenone4618 not enough oversight for that in the 80s. It was constant current on our farm until the early 90s. It wasn't a high voltage, but it was juuuuust enough to make me not able to move

Base is looking PRIME! but maybe triple the ladders in the pits/make them all connected, and maybe a ramp out the side pits for the dogs to cycle out of. I believe that would solve most of the flow hold up points, outside the single file nature.

One thing to do about the number of days since last demo blast sign is instead of counting the days: put in the number of the day a demo exploded. That way you'll never lose count of it.

A good way to keep zombies from breaking apart your stairs is to make a pyramid set on the bottom so they can climb the stairs from the sides as well

You make some amazing looking bases, I wonder if you've ever considered having someone make them into a bundle of POIs to be included into the game. An old overrun GNS base location to be reclaimed, restored, and reinforced.

I mean if the drone is bugging you during combat you can just leave it at the vehicle and still get the extra storage. One of your problems is that you exit your fighting area a lot during battle. When you do, it screws up zombie pathing and they start dealing damage in less optimal places (pit walls, garage ramp, etc), and of course once a block is damaged nearby zombies prefer beating on it above other nearby blocks.

This may very well be the first recorded instance of somebody deliberately seeking out Rekt. Unless G9 did it in his Farmer Glock series. Been so long I do not recall.

I go into the files and edit him to like me. He’s just a happy grandpa at that point. I’ve never been able to bring myself to set Jen to dislike. I don’t think I can handle mean Jen.

a high lvl sledgie placed into the wall next to your fighting position would help thin the weaker ones out and also stagger the spitters some. Just put one into my DF horde/home base and the difference from the previous horde night was amazing. It also allowed me to get some work done even with a wandering horde knocking at my door. no need to panic when they keep getting yeeted which gives me time to reload, grab more ammo/grenades, check on workbenches etc.

I do the same thing, but I use a half block 2 to the side of the fighting door. this usually prevents the sledgie from getting damaged.

Yucca smoothie is the best way to compensate for healing factor. Hate to say it but it's an all in one fix, thirst and hunger.

Strangely relaxing to hear I wasn't the only one who got clotheslined by an active electric fence as a kid. I had a sore throat and sounded like I was coming off a bout of strep for about a week.

Hey Tem, have you ever thought about modifying the xml file to increase the loot bag despawn time? It’s super easy to do. I’d be interested to see how many you actually get from these massive hordes without letting the majority despawn.

Electric fences hurt. Family friend raised dairy cows & had a couple horses in a pasture that was surrounded by an electric fence. My younger brother dared me to touch the fence. I didn't actually touch the fence before it shocked me. To this day I hate static electricity. Especially the shocks you feel all the way up your arm to your shoulder.

Been clothes lined a few times in my younger years, while trail riding on dirt bikes. Miss the resilience of adolescent years. These days I'd be hurting for weeks to months if that happened again.

Just here to poke Tem and see if he is going to play STALKER GAMMA? He did one episode ages ago and asked the community if they were interested in him continuing. The vast majority of comments seemed to want him to play it but he never did another episode. I am very keen for it. I know its a bit of a learning curve with some of the mechanics, but I was impressed that he seemed to have already done a lot of homework before he played his "first" episode.

Hops can be found in a number of farm POIs. If it were a random gen map, just running around in a farm district would be plenty to get you started, and it seems like every randomly generated city in the forest has a farm district. I haven't played much in Navazgane since they updated it, though, so I don't know where any of the new farm POIs are. I don't remember if JW's has hops in the old version, and I don't know what the new version has, but it might be worth a try. There are some POIs with small gardens next to them. I can't remember any that definitely have hops, but they might be worth a try too. Rekt has some vegetable boxes in his store that can be looted. I think you didn't loot them, so you could try that next time you're down there.

Regarding the constant damage that the zombies are doing to your ramps. They theoretically should have no desire to go up there which is why I'm wondering if they see your door "rails" as a viable path. Also, the blocks they are causing damage to are also the steepest parts of the ramp. They have trouble jumping over, so they just start hitting it.

This info may be obsolete, but I remember that zombie pathing AI does not allow them to go down when trying to go up (same thing inverted), not even a single square. I remember JaWoodle testing that for a Bedrock base building episode.

Looked like most of the red bags had despawned... maybe giving the lootbags a lifespan longer than 5 minutes would help, who knows what books or items have already inexplicably evaporated away

Love the idea if tge garage doors you might try putting them at the bottom of the ramps to keep them from tearing into them

You should fill in behind the staircase and the building, and on the side instead of having a wall that keeps getting hit and broken make a side staircase so they just go up. In the pit, should take out the ladder system and make it a smooth ramp leading up so they do even less damage to the base.

For the main stairs, why not make it like a pyramid? You could make that whole side one big staircase, that would help with the zoms getting caught on the corners.

Tem, I think the zombie's keep attacking the ramps because they are connected to the base by the "tracks" you installed. It would be interesting to see if you removed them if they would then ignore the rams as it wouldn't be a viable pathing option. Thanks for your excellent content. It's greatly appreciated!

Trash is the go to for hop seeds imo... or just pretend that you'd hate to get them lol. Things always have a bad habit of becoming extremely difficult to find the moment you actually want em.

Is there anyway to get another drone active if you've lost or got glitched out another drone? I lost my level 6 drone. It glitched out somewhere and I can't remember exactly where and now I can't put down another cuz it says one at a time. Pisses me off. Wish they would fix the fucking drone glitching shit. Love my drones. Nice vids as always

I’m curious if it would help thin the zombies out even more to put the stairs back to being single file and extending the pit to under all the stairs and if you added a poles to walk on before they get to the stairs to help lessen the flow

What if you switched from ladders out of the pit to ramps all the way across (or in conjunction with ladders)? It will get the dogs out a lot easier. Originally you wanted to bottleneck exit from the pit to slow them down to go along with the grenade chutes, but you don't do that any more.

I use those four different plates to run my ramps because all vehicles easily fit up and down and they do not look funny like your wacky ramps that are barely functional. 34:40

after watching a few episodes. I know your having issues with the zombies destroying part of your ramps. my thought is. I know you like the little curved parts on the edge that looks like the railings for the door sliding as it opens. but I'm wondering if they see those as a path up there but end up getting stuck on part of the ramp and breaking them? just a thought.

I am never wanting hops but I find them everywhere. I tend to find them while looting everything. I tend to keep everything I can while looting. so I tend to have beer by the time I go into brawling if I go into it anyway. my only wish is that the brawling build was easier to get early game. because by the time I get it I rarely use it.

That's crazy so I'm from a rural area as well the Adirondacks but me and my friend Josh were playing bike tag lmao and I see Josh off his bike I thought he fell then he hurried up and got on his bike again and I was zooming and I rode right in a electric fence because I was on a bike it tore my chest up the fence wasn't on in my case

Definite upgrade is probably going to be multiple ladders in the pit, like at least two per section until they break the railings. that way there's plenty of contingencies !
