I saw Staind in 1999 and was really into them for their first couple albums, I saw Aaron solo in 2012, the first half was all his country boy stuff and the second half was mainly slower acoustic Staind songs. He got angry at a couple in the crowd for talking during the first half and threatened to kick them out. I don't know, he can do what he wants, but I lost a lot of respect for him at that solo show. @@flashinthepan3273 Probably the fact that he went full grifter... It's one thing to be country, it's another entirely to so obviously be catering to the maga crowd for shameless bump in popularity with the hard right leaning folks. I mean, do your thing Aaron get that bag, but it's just such a stark contrast to his countless songs about crying and having such a hard dark life that all of his former material used to be about.

Aaron also forgot the lyrics to the National Anthem at a MLB game. For a conservative country singer to forget those particular lyrics is pretty damning. Dude is the definition of a hypocrite

I thought Staind was in the mope rock category, rather than butt rock. Mudshovel was a good song, but everything after that was just Aaron whining and playing the victim. Oh, and I initially thought Robert Smith was on the cover of Dysfunctional. 😅

To much deviancy and incompetence on the left anymore . The dems , of which I was one until clinton's second term, lost their way long ago , decades, but more recently , after adopting pure Marxist doctrine, and particularly founding fostering and funding the illegal invasion they preside over, with no allegiance to their citizenry and far more horrific in reality . They must be defeated . Sadly many are blind to that which would be obvious to even the most casual observer.

All I gotta say is Darius Rucker got the same amount of backlash for switching to singing country music also too. Secondly, as for Arron political beliefs a majority of brainwash leftist is always going to hate you no matter what you do good or bad. I fully agree with others in the comment section that asking someone to sing a song in another language in the United States is stupid if that singer has never sung any of their songs not in English ever in their music careers.
