The reason that bass had a bloody tail is because its backed up in a rock cave. it bolts out to eat bait and scratches its tail on the bluff rock. fyi

I bought a place on G last year for the exact same reason...always something new to explore and learn. Keep up the good work!

Heck yeah! It's such a fun lake with so much to learn. Look forward to seeing you out there more and more.

Jacob , I really enjoy watching your videos but i have a suggestion. I would really like when watching your videos to know what time of year (like actual date), water temperatures and depths. As an angler from NE Ohio our season really wraps up in November with current water Temps in the upper 30's. seeing your videos its tough to guage the conditions you're actually working with. Thanks

Wish you would speak more to the areas of the lake you are fishing. Guntersville is a huge body of water and it would be great to know the areas you are fishing.

Great video and haven’t been able to to gville yet but the first spot looked more like a mean mouth than just a spot but it could be just the camera angle

Might have been, I believe it was just a golden looking spot. 👍

Great video just be careful you are aloud 3 hook on your Alabama rig for the state of Alabama i just hope a game warden doesn't see that your using 5 just be careful

Ever try Braid-to-Leader with the A-rig? That's what I've been using and I think the reel twitches are much better and feeling the fish push past or swipe at it.
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
I personally don't like Braid to leader on the rig. Sometimes I will throw it on straight Braid, only if I am up shallow and throwing it on a fast gear ratio.
@dustoff_fishing3 жыл бұрын
Great video Jacob. That A rig is money. The different weights. Any reason why you do that? Great great 4.4 lber
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
The different weights allow you to fish different depths in the water column more effectively

Good video bro. I like that A-rig that you made. I was going to ask you who made that one. Any thoughts on some of those to sell?
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 👍 unfortunately I don't sell any of them. I would recommend the flash mob Jr. They are a great Arig for a good price.

I would check out the Cabins at Waterfront! Waterfront is a great centrally located part of the lake with a launch ramp, gas station, good breakfast, and plenty of tackle.

What exactly spinning rod do you use for shakeyheads?
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
I like to use the Phenix Feather 7'1" Heavy action. It is a great shakey head rod.

Good stuff, man! Are you finding them first with side imaging and dialing down on them with active? Thanks
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
Not really locating them with Side imaging lately. Just stopping and looking with active target

@@jacobwallfishing thanks man! I noticed the overcast conditions, is that making the fish more aggressive? You def found some good ones!
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
@@1MoreCast I believe that the overcast conditions help pull them up off the bottom and away from structure a little more.

Heading to Guntersville for the first time in May 2022. Any tips or suggestions for me you might be willing to share? Going to be a group of 6 guys and 3 bass boats. Spending 5 days and really looking forward to it. Been on my bucket list for years.

If you are around a decent drop off and you have it with light jig heads you shouldn't have any issues.

What kind of leader knot do u use
@jacobwallfishing3 жыл бұрын
I use the Alberto knot I like how fast and easy it is. I don't use it for heavy braid to leader but for light line applications it's my goto.
