@@MalasiaDubose The hair in the front had thin spots so less hair was retained there and as a result the front is maybe an inch or so shorter than the rest. It can't be noticed unless I actually stretch my hair out and even so, I plan on trimming the rest of it to be even and level with the front so no big deal!

I got my starter locs done dec 7th 2021 & was really unhappy w them, they gave me different sized locs and a really uneven grid pattern. I got one retwist after I took out the style I attempted to take out my locs but was getting frustrated and lost hella hair in two locs right at the front 😡. Thanks for this vid . As long as you have healthy locs you can comb them out. If you have a lot of breakage then it’s best to just cut them.

@@damauryy actually its the opposite. Blacks are the ones able to comb it out because it twisted naturally and is naturally curly. If you have a straight hair, 99% of straight locks are made from a crochet hook. That is almost impossible to comb it out as everything is twisted and tied instead of being naturally curled.
