I hope that people appreciate this project for its creativity and boldness. It is such a cool and unique system. Ill still never be able to afford one of these systems, but thats ok. Maybe when my kids get out college. Its cool to think that this kind of engineering and creativity is being done in the Cowboy State! Keep riding for the brand!

From an engineering perspective the part of the conversation about the barrel joint design and thread design to carry loads from chamber pressure was very insightful

I will own one of these rifles before I head back home. Side note, I heard a podcast with trey knight talking about how difficult it is to make pic rail hand guard that actually retains true zero or near as can be under different temps etc but not so much making a single part but making 100,000,000s of them. Very curious. Thanks for these podcasts. I greatly enjoy them. Keep pushing.

@@mikecash6672 I’m not worried about the money I appreciate the tech that’s in this rifle and I want one. I have a switch rifle already just kinda bored with it and want something different.

It will be cool if a way could be found to maintain or create the grain structure of say a forged part. Not sure how it would be possible but just a thought.

I don’t want aluminium and I don’t want to pay more for it. I’m sure it’s a great gun. Good luck.

Accuracy in long range rifles has been proven with a limited tolerances and limited components. The NEXUS is the exact opposite. A broken trigger, slipped barrel and/or loose receiver bolts are all very real possibilities with this rifle. One fall on a TW, horse, bike, or terrain and there's no telling what will move on the hunt of a lifetime. This is not the solution for a true hunter. Cool, you change a barrel in the field. Something a great cartridge and bullet combo eliminates.

Are you familiar with the construction of Blaser rifles, the volume they have sold and the amount of use those rifles have seen?
@mikecash66722 жыл бұрын
@THLR.NO very much so. Not a rifle I would poke 1,000 yards with cold bore on am elk, sheep, deer of a lifetime though. I had one in .338 and. 308. This rifle has 2 connections for the barrel, 2 screws to hold the barrel into an aluminum receiver, 2 action screws, and sliding trigger. Not the same.
