Professor Noura Erakat offered a public talk on “The Potential and Limits of International Law in Achieving Accountability in Gaza,”. The talk was moderated by Professor Noha Aboueldahab.
Noura Erakat is a human rights attorney and associate professor in the Department of Africana Studies and the Program in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University. She served as legal counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives and as a legal advocate for Palestinian refugee rights at the United Nations. She is the author of Justice for Some: Law As Politics in the Question of Palestine. Noura is a frequent commentator, with recent appearances on CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NPR, among others, and her writings have been widely published in the national media and in academic journals.
