This is an exceptionally good transcription for the guitar, and of course well played. The artistry lies in both the transcription and performance not letting the demanding techniques get in the way of the composition (by John Williams). Ms. Selyutina executed both the violin melody and the harmonically complex orchestral accompaniment (much of it anyway possible on the guitar) brilliantly. The separation of the melody much preserves the 'concerto' format. This piece, both the transcription and performance, is an excellent example of what masstro A. Segovia once said about the guitar being an orchestra on 6 strings! Well done indeed!

A beautiful instrumental! What pleases me the most is that this was performed in a very deep, quiet moment, reflecting the respect that this composition deserves. Playing this as a memorial: for those that did not survive the horrors of those years, but also in an intimate tone for all those who did survive the holocaust to create generations that would continue 86 years later. All across Europe countless unknown stories of selflessness, of courage, and of sacrifice regardless of their country, or race, they chose to help those who could help themselves. THIS IS FOR THEM
