This was a good series on just basic character creation for any RPG, not just GURPS. Thank you for doing this...

Super happy I found these. I've watched all 6, and I feel like it's going to really help me flush out and design characters for my game.

I'm just getting ready to start playing GURPS as Play-by-Forum and your videos really helped me out! You deserve more views. Great job, very comprehensible!

Thanks for these videos. I'm a seasoned roleplayer, just finished 30 levels of D&D 4e as a player. Did not love that. Now I'm a GM and wanted to try a system that was malleable enough to fit my own thing. Watched all 6 of these. Now I knew what all the fragments entailed already, but it's nice to hear someone talk about it. I will now watch the 2h23m vid of that session. I will need a firm grip on how it works before I can introduce it to my players. Thanks for your time and energy invested

Thanks for the videos man. I agreed to GM a GURPS campaign for some friends who have never roleplayed. I've only done a star wars d20 system. We decided to just do our own thing and GURPS is perfect for that so it's been fun to be creative. And I've been reading through the book to apply the rule system. It does seem kinda overwhelming, but I've been glad to watch these vids and see that my understanding is generally correct from what I've read. Hope you are doing well.

Am glad you liked the videos. GURPS definitely can help the creative process. It can be overwhelming and it's better to start off without using every rule. You can still have a good time. Enjoy and roll low.

Thanks for these videos, I'm a complete beginner planning on joining a GURPS adventure in progress with a group at my local comics shop, it defiantly gives me an idea of what I'm getting into and will hopefully keep me from making too many beginners mistakes.

I'm glad you found a group to play with. That can sometimes be the hardest part. GURPS is an awesome system and I hope you have fun. Glad you liked the videos.

Thanks for the videos, they were really good. I learned a lot and appreciate the effort. Downloaded lite already and I'm going to head on over to my FLGS to get the full version. I wasn't really sure how well a generic system would sit in terms of how much detail you can put into a specific setting/theme/genre but I feel much more confident about getting into Gurps now. I'd love to see some videos on the different books actually and of actual gaming sessions as well. Good job!

Glad you liked them. Your FLGS will appreciate you getting the books with them. You may actually luck out and find some 3rd Edition or earlier books. Those are treasures.

I wanted to make the videos so there was something other than books to explain character creation. I like using this medium to explain the system and issues that come up during character creation.
