There's been a mistake in Feint resolution here. When you succeed and the opponent fails, the opponent subtracts your margin of success from his active defenses, not margin of victory. It wouldn't affect anything in this combat, however.

All these combat examples are confirming GURPS is very grounded in reality. -Do not fight outnumbered -Open fight is a bad idea -Fight as dirty as possible to survive

That was a great little fight. I appreciate you using optional rules, too. I would like to see a more involved one where the mounted character can do a charge with a lance, perhaps against a few brigands. Or perhaps two mounted knights (with somewhat different attributes, traits and skills) in full plate charging one another on the battlefield. I really enjoy seeing short combats (or other skill uses, like stealth or reaction skills) designed to illustrate how specific situations and rules work. They don’t have to be an entire battle, and it’s even okay to choose the dice roll results you want to best demonstrate the lesson (or show the same scenario multiple ways so we see what can happen with good rolls vs. bad ones). They serve as great instruction tools.

Clearly the ninja shouldnt have got up in the face of the heavily armored knight and stuck to attacking at range. But an excellent video, showcasing how its never ober until it's over, even if riding looks more of a pain than it's worth. Poor pony with the broken leg.

Attacking at range would probably require either some very good rolls to hit the unarmored face, as the knight had DR 5 almost everywhere, and with 1d-2 cut damage there's no real way to damage him otherwise. Swung sais, however, deal crushing damage, and mail armor is vulnerable to it.

@@dungeonsandgurps that makes a lot of sense, thank you for the clarification.

IMO, the turn that someone recovers from stun THEY DO NOT GET THE -4 TO DEFENSES. Because the -4 it's tied to the stunned condition and NOT to the Do Nothing action (an action that can be taken in any moment, even if you are fully capable of doing anything else). I don't understand your rationale in forcing the -4 when the stunning condition is clearly over.

Do Nothing maneuver, p. B364 "If you are stunned, however, your active defenses are at -4 until your next turn - even if you recover."

a very poor cataphract rider that can't afford barding. also the ninja lost despite being 2 tech levels above hahaha
