I am building this as of now and thank god I heard before the issues with the stiffness of it, sanding is a must at least for me, I am halfway there but the first thing that I did was sand down those hip joints and fill them in with crazy glue as indeed they are so damn hollow! So far so good, but indeed I have sanded a lot of parts so it can move smootly, I have the lazzengan next and I have to learn from this one, thank you so much for such an amazing video, I really learned from it!

Imagine making jokes in reviews. Also from what I know about the Plaiobot line aside from the Lazengann they'll also be making the Chou Ginga (super galaxy) Gurren-Lagann. As for a Godannar kit I can imagine that Good Smile Company would do one for their Moderoid line. Aside from giving me an existential nightmare with their horrible Sentinel Mazinkaiser redesigns they keep pushing they've also been doing a lot of obscure stuff there recently. That being said I have no clue if they're any good since I'm the guy who buys those Riobots.

I tried out using metal epoxy putty (Steelstik) to fill in the gaps on the hips, and so far for me they've been holding up to the articulation. I'm still worried that it would break off at the plastic bits tho haha

@@Ikamistis so far, yup. I don't really pose him around a lot, but any time I do he's holding pretty steady. Looking back, I'd probably also sand down the hips a little just to make sure the legs aren't on too tight.

This kit has quite possibly the worst hip and leg joints I've ever dealt with. The loop joint in the knee for me broke, and both pegs for the hips snapped off. Im currently in the process of trying to jury rig something together but plastic cement can only hold so much. Anyone know of any high grade kits or anything I can use to replace the hip parts?
