Ye bhut acchi soch ha but don't come to Canada with a baggage, i came to Canada after 12th too and let me tell you, the most valuable asset they've got is not any luxurious house or cars or six figures in their bank, it's you, and you staying with them and serving them your emotional and physical support by working hard even there is going to be better option if you want to help them, but it's all upon you, if you really wish to come to Canada just consult with your elders and ppl you trust, and whatever decision you'll make, best of luck for that, hopefully you get whatever you want

Just bilkul na dabo by others and do what is right for you and prioritize yourself first and galat sangat mein na pado. Work hard and study well. You should remember that first thing you always focus on is your education. If you worked extra hours to earn your school fees and then failed the course because you don’t have time & energy to complete your coursework, you have basically worked extra hours for no reason because you have to pay to take that course again and you will graduate later. It is important to work but not at the expense of your school work.

it wasn’t easy and didn’t even thought about all this points when i came to canada . somehow managed to do all of it paid 3 sem fees by myself but yes it took almost 5 yrs to get my permanent residence.So better to do research before coming because you have to go through a-lot here .

I'm also planning to move after one year ! Anyone cannot predict the cutoff for PR. It solely depends on government. But as we all know that Canada need more and more people to migrate so one can surely get a PR if he or she have a strong academic as well as job background.. Hope it helps.

Hey Gursahib, You suggested to choose provinces other than Ontario and BC but Job market(IT field) in our chosen field is not so good in provinces other than Ontario and BC so we have to move out of that province (say Alberta) after graduation. This also reduces the chances of getting PR right?
