You nailed it, Richie is definitely using a ton of reverb and also you can tell there's a room mic set way back. Not a great tone but good enough for the song. That pitch shift makes all the difference during the solo and the beginning lead part. Randy Rhodes is using the same effect on Over the Mountain
@GurtejSinghGuitar Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! The pitch shift is the main thing, and yes that room mic is also adding a bit to the tone overall!

Thank you! Big fan of your content, just amazing job, I use AX8 and I found your videos very useful for knowing the edit tool. Just one question, how do you adjust the global eq in the fractal? Do you cut or boost some freq or completely flat?
@GurtejSinghGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks a lot for your support and feedback! I keep the global EQ flat in the Axe FX II unit at all times :)

Hello Brother, I really like your video, you managed to get a sound that is close to or even exactly the same as Richie Sambora's guitar sound. with the settings you made on your effects and amp But, can you make another video tutorial, namely how to get a guitar sound similar to Richie Sambora in the song "Always" the first guitar solo part, so there is like a "Rotary Speaker" simulation effect so the sound vibrates and that's really cool, please make a tutorial about that 🙏🏼

Thanks for this great tutorial. Did you want to pan the pitch block all the way to the left with the reverb? Because your mixer is panning everything in row one correct? Or should a guy move the pitch block to the third row?
@GurtejSinghGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! I will confirm, but I think the Mixer block only impacts on blocks which are directly attached to it, which is the reverb in this case and the dry signal chain. I don't hear the pitch being panned to the right in the preset. Great question though :)

Great job! I think the Whammy pedal came out a while after this track was recorded so it'd be interesting to find out what octaver he used. I had never even noticed the octave part in the mix, tbh!
@GurtejSinghGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Thats actually very interesting, I did not know that. Would be nice to know what pedal might have been used! Cheers.

Pretty damn close... is this being output to an external cab or monitor speakers?
@GurtejSinghGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I use studio monitors, but what you are hearing here is directly from the DAW from the Axe FX 2 into my MOTU interface.
