Gurgaddi literally means the seat of the Guru and refers to
the passing of Guruship from one Guru to the next. It also refers to when Guruship was bestowed on the Sikh scripture, the Adi Granth or the Pothi Sahib, in 1708 by Guru Gobind Singh at Talwandi Sabo. In October 2023 we mark the 405th anniversary of this event. This is a brief look at how this Gurgaddi traces all the way back to Guru Nanak.
