Lama Glenn Mullin is so open and transparent without any drop of pretense……so amazing! I am very grateful and feel very fortunate to have found this channel. Thank you so much for sharing. His talks free me from my wrong views of dharma practice.

Experiencing it now. Instead of practicing Tummo, I am watching this, even though both from Lama Glenn. 😂

Very strange how he portrays monastic ordination in such a completely distorted way. He is either ignorant as to the meaning of ordination or he is showing willful bias that is contrary to the Gelugpa tradition, which he claims to represent. By the way, the Tibetan costume he insists on wearing (even for videos) has no basis in the Gelugpa tradition and I have never understood his insistence on wearing such gear.

Ghenla I have a great reverence to lama glenn mullin. He has been a great student of our tibetan bhudhism masters from many lineage since 1970s and contributing many to dhamma and to tibetan refugees still. Thuche nang.

‘Losang Tenpa’, Glenn explained the reason, why he chose not to take monastic vows and become a monk, after consulting with Kyabje Ling Rinpoche, senior tutor to HHDL. I haven’t listened to the full interview yet. Not sure if you are Tibetan, your background, lineage and how long you have been exposed to Tibetan Buddhism and it’s culture, politics to criticize. I have, am Tibetan and I know Glenn’s got training from top Gelugpa masters fro his early engagement that he cited and wrote numerous books including biographies of Dalai Lamas. I also remember the ‘Sacred Dance, Scred Music’ he created in late 80’s and 90’s bringing Tibetan monks from mostly the Gelug monasteries to the performance tours in the west, which benefited enormously in raising awareness to Tibetan culture and political situation. Then equally important in raising much needed funds for the monasteries in southern India, which became main source of funds for many years that contributed to the growth of the monasteries and scholastic education that we see the results now. So yes Glenn’s done a lot of good work for Tibetan Buddhism that Tibetans and Buddhist followers should be grateful for. Great interview. Thank you ‘Katrin Che’

I suspect that you do not really practice or do so within a very limited educational sphere regardless of the name you give yourself or perhaps has been given to you. Glen is VERY highly respected across the Tibetan Buddhist world from HH Dalai Lama down. His frankness reflects well the situation within and without the monastic traditions. As to Glen's 'costume' as you put it, I suspect that you need to read and learn beyond your present limitations and then having done so, re-assess your present opinions.

All sincere and due respect to Mr. Glen Mullen. Losang Tenpa, I would like to read every one of your complaints. I hope you will be clear, and very specific, so we might comprehend everything to which you object, and why you object. This may give all of us the opportunity to practice listening and then discernment. 🙏Thank you.
