Dear Steve, Thank you so much for conducting this interview! As a Yuthok Nyingthig practitioner and student of Dr. Nida, it feels really special to hear him speak from the heart about his life and the lineage he loves so much. What a blessing to have been able to see this video.

Thanks for this beautiful video. I watched this and was so inspired by Dr Nida's heart that i enrolled in his Teachings. Completely changed my life. I believe Dr Nida is Medicine Buddha in person. May his Teachings spread around the World.

Absolutely correct. Today people are practicing randomly without proper base or foundation. I find many people with few days of learning start teaching. And another important danger is people try to justify their teaching or practice is better over others. In this way, may be real teaching is missed. I saw many ordinary looking practitioners who did not posses anything during their life time dying in isolation and meditation on the other hand many gurus trying hard to prolong their live who had everything. Also many think having many centers, benefactors and influence people around them is the ultimate goal. Apologies to those whose attitude and conduct resembles with what I am saying.

@@GuruViking After watching and listening to him, I became so emotional that he is Guru I am looking for... so humble, so compassionate, so practical, reservoir of pristine knowledge to transmit for the benefit of humankind. His tossing of word 'Tantra', exactly the way I was understanding... Tan or तन in saskrit - the body and 'tra' त्र - the method or technique or tool in saskrit or Sadhan साधन ।।। As against the western connotation of Tantra in the name of Neo-Tantra... he clarified so easily... Next point I was much impressed is Guru Yoga and his way and vision of imparting wisdom is amazing... Thanks Steve for your initiative to bring such a precious being in podcast and sharing the wisdom... Let this merit be shared...

Thank you for the interview. A good friend of mine is a long time European student of Dr. Nida. Unfortunately, I have been able to meet Dr. Nida in person only once very very briefly, but this gives me a lot more perspective.

Interesting how he mentioned at the medical college teachers weren't allowed to teach mantra healing due to the government. It forced them to teach from the homes. Forced them to teach like a Ngakpa from the home!
