Adopting a senior dog is so worth it!! Love this walk today!! ❤ Gotta say that if the people in my life acted like my dogs when I came home I would get a restraining order. From dogs it's awesome, but it's not as cute when people pee on the floor.....😂

Already made this comment on Instagram but here we go again! My dog was rescued from Farm 11 alongside Birdie and Beemo by the Humane Society International during the 2018 Winter Olympics! I fell in love with her -as well as all the other dogs- while volunteering at the quarantining facilities in Canada and witnessing them slowly but surely opening up their hearts in spite of everything.Those beautiful animals were truly humbling to be around. Gus and Birdie, Popi (also a Korean Jindo mix) is next to me as I type this and if she had opposable thumbs and the ability to speak a human language, I'm pretty sure she would say hi. So tell your dog my dog says hi.

I don't know if anyone remembers 90's sitcom "Dharma & Greg" but she would always introduce the dogs this way: This is my dog Stinky and his dog, Nunzio. Stuck in my head forever and I hope Gus finds Birdie a dog. Really loved this walk and Gus's work with rescues.

Hi, my name is Belen and I am from Argentina. This channel is one of my favorites to watch because I am someone who always had dogs in my life I grew up with dogs and animals my entire life and I always chose to rescue because I feel you can gain a deeper connection with the dog. My family dog named Mika she was rescued from Oklahoma after a tornado happened she was found on the side of the road with her parents and siblings because the people decided to just dump them on the side of the road and that makes me very angry because now she’s terrified of loud noise and has trust issues she currently is 11 and she’s been in my life since 2013 and she truly is the best dog and she’s the reason why I have worked in rescue centers and also dog hotels! I have a tattoo of her on my ankle and it’s her paw ! I recently decided to rescue another dog with my partner and that’s been the best decision in my life because Leo came from Alabama and he was abused and also left on the side of the road but he is the most gentle, cutest, kindest, and nicest little baby. I got him when he was 4 months old and he just turned 1 and he is the best boy because all he wants to do is give kisses and his very very smart he learned to do some tricks on his own for example how to open the door to the patio 😂 I love both of them with all my heart! And I would do anything to protect them no matter what! My life purpose I think is to someday open my own rescue or own a ton of land so I could rescue many dogs and make sure they have the best life I could possibly give them! I am very passionate about helping dogs in every way I can.

It kinda is, most dogs have a life expectancy of about 10 years 15 at most. If you get more than that you're extremely lucky.
