I have schizophrenia and my 2 dogs helps me every day. If they dont react to it, I dont react to it. Plus they keep me going, walks outside, people stopping to talk to me because theyre so cute and friendly. Just my every day heroes

I’m so glad you have them to rely on. Hallucinations are something people don’t get unless you’ve had them. I always experienced paranoia with mine (auditory)I really couldn’t trust humans, but I could trust my dog and cat. I wish you the best in life and don’t give up, no matter what.

Despite being a cat person, I absolutely adore all of the dogs on this list, especially Poncho. Poncho is an absolute badass fighting off the intruder and living to tell the tale. He’s such a good boy and one of many reasons why dogs are man’s best friend

After two days of depressive episode with barely leaving my room or seeing the sunlight Poncho‘s hero party made me laugh and smile. He truly is a hero!

It would have taken me 6 months to whittle a shortlist of 1000 good dogs down to 997. An impossible job, and an excellent top 5.

I really hope that for New Year's he does a Top 50 at least. Maybe in groups of ten, as Eurovision does with the Most Watched of the years. But I would happily watch a several hours long Top 1000 tho.

I always hope that the dogs know _why_ they are being swamped with love and treats (even more than normal!). They're such an easygoing animal, they don't (usually!) expect anything other than food, shelter and love, and they're pretty much all grateful for getting those basics. They won't usually understand that they've done something so outstanding that everyone wants to thank them so much! These 5 dogs are particularly special ❤❤❤❤❤

It's so amazing that dogs can be trained to help ID hallucinations! We truly don't deserve them. And Pancho's cake made me ugly cry omg...he deserves ALL the steaks. (Didn't Omaha Steaks end up hearing about him and sending his family a bunch of their steaks too?)

Oh, a X dogs of the Y bonus today! We're so lucky... Maybe, we deserve it because we've been good??? In any case, it's a wonderful surprise that immediately put a smile on my face... Thank you and thanks to all the dogs that have been good (wait... That is so redundant... dogs ARE by definition good... Both words contain the same letters for one thing).
