US culture in Brazil is very pervasive, so, in consequence, they will consume more of that culture (like almost any country in the world, influenced by the current 'hegemonic' nation). So the "new colonialism" about American culture exists, but that doesn't mean we should stop consuming its films, services, etc. On the contrary, we must know even more in-depth about the culture of this country, and specify the negative and the positive in the face of analytical thinking, as opposed to what only exists as idealized in it.

Descendants of Italians, Germans and Japanese are concentrated in states closer to Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. If you go to these regions, many say these countries. There is even a video made in São Paulo where there is a large Japanese colony and where 25% of the population has Italian ancestors and many mentioned these countries on your list. But Recife in Pernambuco is in the northeast of the country and the population is almost entirely descended from Africans, colonial Portuguese and indigenous people.

In general, brazilians love USA. But, depending on where someone lives in Brazil, this opinion might change. Southern brazilians (my case) prefer european or asiatic countries. North part of Brazil (where Gus is now) people usually prefer USA and poor countries like Mexico, Türkyie, Colombia, etc.

Pelo que já vi pela internet… Espanha é um país meio que “livre” no quesito festas, drogas, sexualidade. Muitas pessoas fazem de tudo em festas (sexualmente falando).

Comparado com os outros europeus, os espanhóis são bastante abertos (com todos os temas) e simpáticos, também é um país barato e ensolarado, pra quem vem do norte da Europa, mas pra quem vem do Brasil , e principalmente é do tipo emotivo e conservador demais nos costumes (morei no interior de MG, sei do que estou falando) pode estranhar um pouco a "secura" deles e a abordagem completamente oposta de muitos temas: a humildade, mesmo da boca pra fora, e dar milhares de voltas pra falar qualquer coisa negativa são muito valorizadas no Brasil, na Espanha definitivamente não. Falam também muitos palavrões e blasfêmias, que em muitos contextos, podem ofender MUITO alguns brasileiros. Por isso brasileiros podem ter a impressão que são muito racistas, quando outros países, principalmente no norte da Europa, EUA e Japão são muito mais, mas disfarçam bem. Brasileiros que não tenham problemas com estes temas, vêem a Espanha como um lugar libertador, aonde você pode falar o que pensa, ser quem você é etc. É um dos meus países favoritos (trabalho com espanhóis, já morei com espanhóis,tenho alguns amigos espanhóis, tenho parentes espanhóis, já vi centenas de filmes espanhóis, sigo muitos nas redes sociais etc), mas já tive situações muito desagradáveis com eles. Em grande parte, tem muito turismo em massa de praias, festas e álcool barato, em outra é um país que atende todos os públicos, dos maus introvertidos, com museus igrejas e festivais de artes, aos muito festeiros, com festas sem limite e fim, e também tem o turismo focado no futebol, pois em qualquer canto do mundo sempre tem um torcedor do Real Madrid.

I'm Brazilian and my best friend is Azerbaijani. i was also in Turkey for some days. I love to listen to Rachid Taha, Dalida, Amr Diab, Tarkan, also some Persian and Turkish rap. I would say It has many similarities with Brazil, specially in the collective mentality, the concepts of "saving face" , "high context communication" and the "family first" thing. Indeed some (actually millions) of Brazilian have Levantine ancestry, but they were mostly Christian, that emigranted mostly in the beguinning of the XX century, and very few families stil keep some cultural tradition (sfihas and kibbeh, are a big thing in Brazil, thought, but they are very different than the original ones). Dubai, on the other hand, is one of the favorite destination of (mostly) the young wealthy Brazilian, specially social media influencers.

Acá le preguntas a un argentino sobre Brasil y enseguida te dice que quiere ir para vacacionar. Me preguntan que opino de los brasileros y la verdad no sé ...porque no conozco a ninguno...solo compartí un breve y minúsculo tiempo con alguno. Todos tenemos nuestra visión subjetiva...lo que a mí me parece que está bien, de seguro a ustedes no, cada uno tiene su cultura, yo defiendo la mía nada más. Seremos agrandados y soberbios...muchos extranjeros que vivieron a vivir a este país vinieron con ese mismo pensamiento y después cambiaron de parecer y eso se llama prejuzgar antes de conocer. Y sigo insistiendo con la envidia ...porque nosotros somos muy liberales , pasionales y capas eso jode porque aparte de que nos vamos agrandar? Porque vamos a creernos mejor? Si al fin y al cabo ...todos somos tercer mundistas 😅 para mí en conclusion el resto tiene un complejo entonces de inferioridad XD

In Brazil people work more than in Europe. The standard work journey is 44h, While in france and other countries of europe is around 35h. Also many places there get 5 weeks of vacation
