So it does relate to Afghan like this, Tajiks which Speaks Persian with an old dialect, which are persian basicaly, Hazara people which Have migrated to These lands by time of Mongols with them, uzbeks which have turkic roots , Pashtons which Relate to south asian dna like indian and pakistan and pamiris in north and Nuristanis which are Purely from european neolethic Genetic. I think many people are confused why didn't say America, the truth is that America fought with the groups that were against the democracy (that they have put). America didn't poke their noses in local people and their cultures, so that might be the reason. Also when they left they didn't create chaos. And soon in couple months, the taliban gain power and the peace was there. So people I guess didn't like constant fighting, America was however fighting with the other groups. Not the Afghan people and their culture, so this may be the reason why there are not so many resentment against America.

Pashtun / Pakhtun are one thing just different region used different dialects. exp southern Pashtun say Pashtunistan, Northern Pakhtun say Pakhtunistan. In 16th century, Pashtunistan was a large exporter of quality horses, so the Persians called us "Asfan" which means "horsemens", which was a prestigious title for that time. later Asfan changed into Afghan. For Pathan, I think Indians can answer that maybe they can't pronounce Pashtun. But honestly the word Pathan sounds very dry and that’s it very much unpopular among Pashtuns/Afghans.
