Hi Gus, great model once again. I have a question, have you tried out using edge creases and vertex creases while a subdivision modifier is active. I find it works very well for minimal effort. And as long as you don't apply the modifier the original mesh stays in place. I haven't tested if a multires modifier works in the same way yet, but it might work better as it might allow you to move the divided vertices around without moving the original.
