Iden is the best interview in the sport. "Can I be honest" hahaha he's totally honest all the time and has a great sense of humor.

The way Gustav combines all sort of aspects related to a top level athlete and some insignificant issue like his lucky cap like a regular guy makes him so down to earth. He is an amazing guy that deserves everything from the sport and fans.

Bob, you may want to give space between you and person being interviewed. You lean in and I see Gustav moving back. A request to change up the seating arrangements. Really enjoy the interviews.

Wonderful interview Bob! So nice to see you back on the island with the boys / girls. 👍 Concerning Gustav - you can actually hear that he is a clever guy, that's one part of the reason he is so fast. That guy knows exactly what he is doing.

I think continuing the short course racing while competing in long/middle distance racing is so smart, because even long course racing is becoming more and more about "speed" and a high threshold. All you need to add to your training for long course are a few regular long training sessions to train the fuel systems. I don't think the Norwegians have said this explicitly but I thinks it's part of their "secret."

Hey Bob...once again such a fantastic interview!!! THX!!! AND... (with all respect)... at last a top athlete said it: it is just a highway out there! I was watching the VLOG of LS with "the coach of Lionel ;-)))" and thinking during their run... WOW... how much traffic... and still... IRONMAN Hawaii is IRONMAN Hawaii... it will always be the only one. BEST, Folkert

Great interview, Gustav is a smart and funny guy. I believe the Norwegians are taking the training super seriously and with a scientific approach but he doesn’t take himself that seriously in a good way.
