Yes, it is very nice-looking in the whole. Artistic. But technically very ugly in one particular part: the way he pronates (opens the face) so massively on the backswing is ugly. Roger did that, too, to a lesser extent - except in his neo phase. Haas, Gaudio, Wawrinka, Henin, Dimitrov, Lajovic, - truly beautiful backhands - did not do that.

Guga infelizmente nesse torneio de Roland Garros em 2004 estava jogando muito, mas o físico não ajudava mais. E mesmo assim esse jogo dava pra ele ganhar. One or two? If Nalbandian actually trainrd he could have been a 10+ GS winner... I mean he was the real deal talent wise... not like saying Kyrgios or some shit like that. "Clay dominance"...lol what "clay dominance"?! He literally has won 5 masters on clay and 3 slams in the span of freaking 9 years and you're talking about clay dominance?! He was solid clay courter, who would frequent snatch a title or two on clay and thats about it...there were no such thing as real "clay dominance" during his era! Outside of the fact, that Muster won only one RG title as opposed to Kuerten's 3 he was much more dominant clay courter, than Kuerten! Lol
@Summon2567 ай бұрын
Muster in the 2nd half of the 90's is when it was the last time someone truly was dominant on clay if you disregard what was happening at RG! But if you include RG into conversation as well, then Borg is the only person other than Nadal to claim he dominated the surface, not Wilander, Kuerten, Lendl or even Djokovic can make that same claim!

Aren't you forgetting Nadal & Agassi? Both had better forehands and serves than Nalby (yes, even Nadal), and both had better movement. Doesn't get any harder for Nalby to argue himself into this conversation. Remember that unorthodoxy doesn't entail incompleteness.
@angerisdiscipline39136 жыл бұрын
@@CalebPereira9123 yeah I forgot about his weak serve. but Nalbandian is one of the best baseliners of All times he is probably the best shotmaker ever the combo of his backhand +forehand +volley is just something else he can litterally do anything with his racket

Nadal and Agassi are way more fit than Nalbandian + their game is more consistent + better serve they are for sure better players but In my opinion Nalbandian is more gifted
@CalebPereira91236 жыл бұрын
@@angerisdiscipline3913 Nah. Contrary to curmudgeons forcing their ideas on us, I think gifted goes far beyond volleys (this is not badminton or volleyball). Plus, he's volleying with his dominant hand, unlike Nadal. He doesn't have the power variety and spin variety of Nadal. Doesn't have the backcourt craft either: he can't hit banana winners from 2+ meters behind the baseline, can't defend on open stance as efficiently, can't create enough one-two punches, and can't play with that combination of strength and agility. He can take the ball on the rise more efficiently than Nadal, but not Agassi, who was one of the first players to do that efficiently. I believe Agassi is similar to him in playing style, except that Agassi is a better, more versatile version of him. Don't make this about fitness. Nalby was fit in his earlier years (2001-06), and only started fattening up after that. He's just not as great as he is hyped up to be. His Indoor 2007 swing was all down to him playing 30isj matches less than the somewhat fatigued Big 3 that season. A good player but just shy of the uppermost tier.
