My friend, that is basically Mexican music called "Huapango", it is as unique and diverse depending of the place where it comes. It is associated to a mid mexico region called "Huasteca" that includes part of states Tamaulipas, Nuevo leon, San Luis Potosi, Veracruz, mainly. Each of them with its own style. It is not just the music, but the dancing and folklor arround it. If you ever decide to visit my country.... that area, Huasteca, is a region I recommend even over the virgin beaches we have.
