I really hope the comments in this thread are satire. GD and BZ are by far two of the most overrated conductors today and rely on slick marketing of themselves and their images to cover up their lacking musicality. Neither are taken seriously by educated music lovers and every GD concert I’ve been to has been a major disappointment.
