Ruby Falls is a 145 foot high underground waterfall located within Lookout Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee in the United States.

I was wondering if this was about that
@skyguy55874 жыл бұрын
Chattanooga resident here... First time finding this song lol... Ruby Falls/Rock City is a couple of places on Lookout Mountain that somehow became world famous.. Their pretty neat spots, at Ruby you go down an elevator into a large and sprawling cave that has underground water falls.. Really neat and Rock City is famous for people writing SEE ROCK CITY on the side of red barns...Neil Gaiman based the ending off of it... Anymore Ruby falls questions? AMA LOL

I remember laying in bed when I was a teenager after sneaking out and making it back inside, and I would stare up at the ceiling in the dark and listen to this song and it would make me so emotional.. I’d feel tears rolling down my cheeks and down the sides of my face, I’d be so full of feelings. But I would fall asleep listening to this song. It’s such a vivid memory when I come back and listen to it. Such a gem.

One of the most unique and beautiful songs I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. I love how dynamic it is and yet the wildly different parts all flow effortlessly together. And the solo at the end, the guitar at the beginning and not to mention those awesome drum fills! Will most likely remain a favourite of mine for years to come.

Just copied the lyrics from somewhere: Tonight Where do we go from here? The road through Ruby Falls has reached the end And now we're digging in the sand They're promising that help is on the way Love, confession number one Impossible and sorry And judge, can you look the other way? Some things are best unsaid And now where can we go from here When all the morning birds have gone away Two wrongs won't navigate tonight The afterlife is all in the end The afterlife is ours in the end Love, don't look me in the eye Just wash it all down And judge, can you let me run away We're outta here, straight outta here Somewhere down buried in the sand Two birds give out a song And all of Ruby Falls is singin' along Sing along...

Dont see this about a relationship - I see literally - a disaster - Rockfall, Landslide? 2 people buried and slowly dying - the road had come to the end - buried in the sand , morning birds have gone away.- the afterlife is ours in the end.... but rescued - were out of here - straight out of here somewhere down in the sand, 2 birds give out a song - and all of Ruby Falls sing along - I interpret them rescued - heard by the searchers form the town , with rejoicing... joyful ,bird song like muted trumpet takes us out... beautifully told story. Judge is the name of one of the victims.
